Before starting your home business, as the entrepreneur, you need to know how far will you go for your business. Actually asking the question how far will you go for your business and the answer you find to it is a key that will determine whether you are successful or not as an entrepreneur. You need to ascertain what kind of drive you have and whether you are mentally prepared to experience the pitfalls or not.

While some may be satisfied with a medium-income range, to others, the sky is the limit. But then, they can't reach the summit overnight they have to put in endless hours of labor, but when you love the work and have a goal in mind, the labor becomes enjoyable. But on the other hand if you do not know how far will you go for your business, and are prepared for it, then all this might be simply too much. However that should not be the case and thousands of home business owners are successful so you can be too. In fact, you can be the next big success story.

Home business owners should set up a goal and then keep on pursuing it till they reach the desired pinnacle. The drive should always be there to ensure a steady upward journey.

You can go as far as you wish, provided you do not lose your drive and are not distracted. Here, goal setting plays a significant part. This has to be broken down to several segments. As soon as you finish up with the lowest segment, reach for the next higher goal till you have reached the top. I Appreciate My Home Business

As I sit here and reflect on how wonderful my life is, I can't help but owe a lot of our life success to our home business. We had a huge weekend for our 2nd son Lucas; he turned 1 & he was Baptized over the weekend. We had family from out of town staying with us from Thursday until Tuesday and enjoyed celebrating throughout the weekend. Of course prior to everyone gathering in Atlanta, preparations were being made for the parties and our guests. Two constant thoughts recurred in my mind: 1, it's incredible to realize that Lucas is one already and 2, I'm so thankful and grateful that Bill & I own and operate our own home based business because:

**We enjoyed planning Lucas' weekend on our time frame
**We never had to ask for time off from work for the parties or to be w/ our guests
**We didn't have to worry about if our paycheck would cover the extra expenses
**We relaxed with our guests, at our pace
**And most importantly, we were present, in the moment, with our Son turning one and being Baptized.

We had an incredible time visiting with everyone, creating new memories for our family and watching our Baby Boy grow. I know I've said it before, but I'm so grateful and appreciative of this business and the time it affords me to cherish my family & friends. We have a fantastic life full of wealth, prosperity, success & joy...can it get any better that this??

Setting the right goal is the secret to a successful business deal. The starter might think that somehow selling the product is all about how to cold call, whereas in truth, it is all about getting the right opportunity to sale the product. Precisely, the secret of how to cold call is to achieve the appointment from the prospective client to make the pitch.

Cold calling can work, provided it is done the right way. There is a right way and a wrong way of cold calling, and if you do it right, it will work.

Now, the underlying secret of how to cold call itself determines the strategies ahead. Like researching the market and thus targeting the right audience is the basic idea of cold calling. Once the audience is targeted, extensive research about their business helps a lot when you want to talk about their needs. Once the research is done, it is time for you to make the call sound smart and that is achieved by framing a proper opening statement. Organizing your thoughts is a smart way to avoid common slips that could terminate your call. The opening statement should always address the person by his/her name and then go on to establish a connection such as "Good afternoon Mr. Symons, I visited your website and found out that you have a lot of content and so I was wondering whether you want a writer who can add some call to actions to the copy".

Framing the opening statement effectively is in fact the key to your cold calling success. Try to include a reference point with a greeting and the benefits of the product you are marketing to ensure a productive move on. Sending a promotional item to the prospective client might add extra points to your business. Another tip of how to cold call wisely is to script the entire call this will help you keep the flow of the conversation going.

Practice makes it perfect!

Studies indicate that although most of the sales are made after the fifth or sixth contact, the majority sales people drop out after the second call. The secret of how to cold call successfully is to practice it and be persistent while making one. So get the script ready and list your target audience before you reach out for the phone. Let the people you want to do business with know you before signing the deal. Learn how to cold call for your home business and be persistent, and you are bound to be successful.

No matter how much a salaried person earns, he can never amass enough wealth as his or her expenditures are in direct proportion with his income. So to make money where the possibilities are almost limitless, many people are opting to start a home business and there are other obvious advantages of working from home as well. So when you want to create abundance you may seriously consider starting your own home business.

Here are a few tips for the home business owner to create abundance.

* You must have a well organized wealth-building plan to create abundance. Prepare a viable strategy for achieving your wealth goals.

* Wealth itself is a powerful mind-set. A successful home business person should have that mind-set right from the beginning. "I must create abundance through my business by serving people" should be the motto for the person who wants create abundance.

* Are you determined to create abundance and do you know how to control expenditure? It is important to know the buying season as this will let you save your hard earned dollars. Creating abundance is possible only when you are increasing your earnings in the one hand and controlling your expenses on the other.

* Experience has shown that successful home business owners have an inborn faith and confidence in themselves and their abilities. They seem to sense right at the beginning that they would succeed and that they would eventually amass wealth. This feeling can obviously come only from knowledge and so do everything to know as much about your trade as possible.

* To create abundance, the home business owner should always keep her eyes and ears open and become open-minded. The Choice is Congruent with Your Goal

As I was laying in bed this morning, snuggled up to Bill & warm, I was creating my day. I wanted to meditate in my Sacred Space as it's been 2 weeks & I knew that I had the perfect time to do so...right now. Everyone was sleeping and this is my time in the morning for meditating, yoga & journaling. But I was so comfy & warm, snuggled next to Bill. The monkey chatter began: "You never get to sleep in", "You deserve to rest." I had almost convinced myself that this what I was suppose to be doing when I had that "a-ha" bolt of lightening zap my brain. You see, Bill & I have a goal for ourselves: to bring on 20 people/families into our business for the month of November. We start and end our day, everyday, mentally rehearsing our goal and living in the feelings associated with the goal, as if it were already accomplished.

My bolt of lightening: I choose to be successful. I choose my goals. I choose the decisions and the action plan to achieve that goal. Currently my goal requires the action of meditating to achieve that goal. If I choose to lay in bed instead of mediating, if I choose to be still instead of taking action, in essence I am choosing NOT to pursue my goal. Instead, I am saying to the universe "Ahhh, my goal isn't that important, I'd rather lay in bed snuggled to Bill. Achieving my goal can be put off for another day." Needless to say, I jumped out of bed and had a fantastic meditation.

Successful people do things they don't want to do anyway. Successful people get out of their snuggly bed and pursue their goal, at all costs. Whatever it takes to achieve the goal is a small price to pay for the prosperity & abundance achieving the goal brings.

Get Out of Your Bed!!
